I loved the way Alex was so in tune with the spirituality of the blessing ceremony. But there was a little moment that just tickled me... when the Hawaiian priest was blessing everyone with the ti leaves, he touched their foreheads, shoulders, and hips to symbolize the different parts of the body. Alex was totally respectful, but he got this sweet little grin on his face when the priest brushed the leaves against his hips... like he felt the humor AND the spirituality in that moment.

And I can't get over how GOOD Alex looks...and when I say 'good', I mean healthy. Looks like our boy's put on a little weight, and seems broader across the chest and shoulders. That just makes me so happy.
