Does anybody get Entertainment Weekly in hard copy? There's gonna be an article about the movie in it. :teeth: Here's a teaser. http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/03/13/veron ... ckstarter/

Note the paragraph at the end (behind spoiler tags because it has, um, spoilers in it):
Spoiler:
Another Fun Fact? That video was actually shot in February of last year. Yep: The plan to revive Veronica Mars has been in the works for quite awhile, and you can get all the details from Bell and Thomas about how their plan came together in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on newsstands and tablets this Thursday. You’ll also get some scoop on the plot of the movie, which involves mystery, murder, and yes, a high school reunion.

I'm a bit late to the party as I just saw this thread but wow! Amazing news. That's amazing and awesome something like this can happen after all this time. It gives a fan hope in a heartless TV world.

Shared this info with my daughter and she is thrilled. Due to all of you and your recommendations, I bought the entire season of Veronica Mars for her for Xmas a few years ago and she loved it.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at Warner Brothers studio right now. :snicker:

No fan interest? Check the numbers.

My (perhaps cynical) view of WB going along with Rob Thomas' proposal? This was a win-win for them. On the negative side, if Thomas didn't get the $2 million in the allotted 30 days, then maybe he'd get the hint that not enough people were really interested in seeing a movie.

Even if he did (by some miracle) get the $2 million - then the VM fans would have their movie and WB would look good for giving them the opportunity of some sort of closure.

I wonder what the WB guys are thinking now.
