According to the Hollywood Reporter, Rob Thomas has signed a deal for two follow-on novels that pick up where the movie ends. :reading: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/v ... ies-585496

Well, that's very cool. :twothumbs:

I would have preferred follow-up movies, but I guess the two are not mutually exclusive. :teeth:

Loved the news about Rob Thomas carrying on with Veronica Mars books. Reminds me of what Trevor Munson is doing with his series.

On other VM news, Jerry O'Connell is joining the cast, per TV Guide. The article below tells you about his character. Personally, I can't stand the guy, and found it unfortunate that he announced it before Rob did. Still, if his addition makes Rob happy, I'm happy.

There was a "backer's update" about it today. I'm not a big fan of him either, but then again, the first Lamb was pretty much of a jerk.

I think Jerry O'Connell will be easy to dislike as the new Sheriff Lamb. Rob must have a vision that Jerry is fulfilling. I'll leave it in his capable hands. :teeth:

I am ridiculously excited to know that Jason can do the standing back flip just as well as Ryan. :snicker:

You've hit my favorite bits as well, Lilly

Was that Jamie Lee Curtis interviewing Veronica? I didn't know she was going to be in it.

To the set!! :giggle:

She hadn't been announced. I think she's one of several "surprise" guest actors we're going to see. :teeth:
