Re: Jason in The Originals (CW)
Probably. I think there are some videos that synopsize the previous seasons in a few minutes.

That's exactly what I'm doing, Rhonda.r1015bill wrote:I haven't watched the Originals at all. Do you think I could pick up enough of it if I just watch this season to see Jason?

Re: Jason in The Originals (CW)
OK kind of sad that Jason doesn't seem to be listed in any more episodes.
However a fun surprise. This 3rd episode (I'll See You in Hell or New Orleans) had actress Tracy Ifeachor in it and I knew I've seen her before.
ttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm3287940/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
She was Wo Fat's sadistic sidekick who tortures Steve in episode 5.07 Ina Paha

H5-0 5.07

She's just as bad in The Originals 3.03

Re: Jason in The Originals (CW)
I've noticed that--but it's also true that info on the future episodes looks really sketchy. And we haven't seen anywhere near the plot development he's talked about, so let's wait and see. Besides, I found a couple of pics of him that are not from what we've seen so far, and are clearly from an episode.

Here's an example. Having problems, so can't load the other one now, but he's talking to Cami in her uncle's secret archive room. This did not happen in ep. 1-2, so...he'll be back.

Re: Jason in The Originals (CW)

I like his character, but he better tread lightly these Vamps don't mess around with eliminating threats and Will appears to be becoming a possible threat.

Quite nice, isn't it? The other one is really the back of his head, but it shows more of the scene and the other people in the scene.allegrita wrote:That's okay, I'll just stare at this one for a while.
Oh, and for those struggling with the whole sire/bloodline thing, I ran across something yesterday while looking for any news of future episodes. Okay, doesn't make much sense, but in order to get around the whole, "if an Original dies, their entire bloodline dies" thing, apparently it's possible to "decouple" a bloodline from the founding sire. So the guy visiting the Buddhist monastery, Tristan, was the first person Klaus ever turned, but he has decoupled from Klaus's bloodline, and will not die if Klaus does. And the other new guy in New Orleans (Lucien?) who is probably the one behind all those gory murder's Det. Will is so curious about, is from Tristan's bloodline, and also immune to Klaus's possible death.

I am actually just watching ep. 3, and while I didn't see Jason mentioned in any of the advance stuff (or even listed in it on IMDB, he's definitely in it, and had a great scene in an interrogation room!

Re: Jason in The Originals (CW)
I'm caught up to ep 4 (alas, no Jason), but I find this series intriguing. I've not seen Seasons 1 or 2, but I'm beginning to figure out 'who's who'.
For anyone who has watched this from the beginning, is it worthwhile to go back and watch the first two seasons?
One other note - in episodes 3 and 4, the actress who plays Aya (Tracy Ifeachor) is the same one who played Wo Fat's accomplice in H50 Season 5, ep 7. She really plays the 'lovely on the outside, evil on the inside' villain well.

I've watched season 1, but not 2 (yet). I'd say, it's worth it.

A bit of news on Jason's character in The Originals (which I'm currently bingeing on). 'Tis a bit spoilery, hence the tags.
