When we saw the exhibit of Moonlight costumes at the FIDM in Los Angeles last summer, MyImmortal laid a sheet of paper next to the boots of Mick's costume in order to get a rough idea of how long they were. Although that was obviously an imperfect measurement tool, the boots appeared to be as long as the 11" sheet of paper, or maybe a fraction of an inch shorter. Now, on the show, Mick looked like he had much bigger boots than that. But don't forget, he also looked bigger all over than Alex does in person (according to those incredibly lucky people who've seen him in person, that is--alas, I never have!). So...either the boots in the costume exhibit were not the ones that Alex actually wore, or he's about a 10 1/2 to an 11 shoe size.
I know, I know...the shoes in that picture do look like they're a lot bigger than a size 11. But I'm just telling you what I saw.

Alle dear, as much creedance as I give my own amazing ability to eyeball a shoe size from a 2 by 3 inch picture on a computer screen, well, let's just say I will deign to give even MORE creedance to MyImmortal actually measuring the damn shoes... So gracias mija for the info! And they're still shiny...
To think when I posted the pic earlier, I randomly clicked on a few files in PB and almost blew past it!
