Here is a little more information about the bent wood chairs, the Cherner chairs in the office and living room.

I think that the brown chair is a copy of this one. I know th leg design is different but the shape is correct.

I don't believe it's an egg chair, MS. The top is similar but it is less concave, and the seat doesn't have the bowl shape.

The dining table is interesting because it's lovely but doesn't get used. So it fits that the dining chairs don't look that comfy. A set piece.

I was wondering about that, Lucy -- thanks for the first hand info. Although I guess it would all defend on the size of one's fanny.

The set decorator is Chris Marsteller and the production designer is Alfred Sole. I've actually been trying to dig up contact information for them. If you want to tackle this, MS -- go for it!

Okay, another day of searching and looking for that blasted chair with no luck is making contacting them look better and better all the time. I am not sure I can sound even half way intelligent if I do get in touch with either of them...

Regarding the fireplace being on Veronica Mars, I think I saw it in Logan's pool house but I won't swear to that. That episode is later in the first season.

That is the link to the Artist who did the black and white photography depicting the Jazz artists. I don't have a good shot of them, but I seem to remember one by the front door.

It's made by Cisco Brothers, called Romi, and was upholstered in Brown mohair.
price is not given, I have to add that they are a sustainable green manufacturing company. Chris is currently working on a new show called Castle.
