Eyebrows too dark and bushy; nose is "fatter" than Alex's; but damn. He could be a good double, no doubt!
But the EYES would definitely give it away! Alex has chameleon eyes; that is his trademark!
If this guy's eyes are average, he would be just another pretty face! LOL
Not Alex but I thought so at first until I studied it.
I just need to get up close and personal with our boy and then I could tell---

I'm with ya, kays and mwj. There are so many differences and only a scant few similarities. The ears are totally wrong. The upper lip is way too full. The teeth aren't right. The nose is too wide. The eyebrows are too full and bushy.
So other than hair length and maybe color, I don't see any similarities. He could maybe play Alex's stunt double, but that's about it.
This reminds me of the time when someone got a hold of the intro to Mary Bryant and so many people were convinced that it was Alex doing the narration.
good thing we're not obsessed, huh?

Nahhhhh! Obsessed? us? Just because we get up first thing in the morning, before we pee

---and run to the comp---a process we repeat constantly all day long in case of new Alex info----doesn't mean we are obsessed. We just like to be INFORMED. Yeah, that's it. INFORMED.

Okay, I'm still not totally convinced one way or the other, but look at these...
The skin tone is quite different, but that's likely an artifact of makeup and lighting. That mouth sure looks awfully similar to me, though.

Well, it was posted to YouTube on November 1, 2008; but I don't know how long the ad had been out before that. Alex was in London promoting Moonlight a lot earlier than November, so who knows...
Like I said above, I'm

on whether or not its Alex.

I just saw in Ad Age Samsung has changed Media Buying Agencies. Once upon a time I had realtionships with commercial spot agencies thought I could maybe track it down but I can't. I've been out of that business a while.

I'm with cassy and whoever else may have noticed. The teeth are different. I would say it's not Alex.

I don't think its Alex. The face shape is off. I know that the guy has his mouth open, but we've seen Alex like that. I really doubt its him. And his ears aren't pierced.
Plus anything Samsung is not listed under his stuff on any site.

i think it's a look alike...captializing on the dr. mcdreamy guy's look from grey's anatomy....and he has the same facial structure/scruff as AOL.
I don't see the mole/beauty marks that AOL has....
The teeth are wrong too.....I think.
this time next year it's going to be AOL look alikes......

After scrolling through three pages (!), I concluded that the agreement is, this is NOT our Alex.
Speaking of commercials, I just saw Jordan in one (sorry, oft!)

It is Target or Wal-Mart or one of those. He plays a newly-wed and he and his bride are buying cooking stuff. He says now if they could just learn how to cook. Not his best work, I think. I have seen it several times now.
