Sigh!

And hopefully, more interviews soon

I was just sitting here thinking about his question about Whiteout. Something had been bothering me about it until I realized what it was. Alex had filmed WO the spring before he did ML, so how did Kate and Alex talk about being vampires? Then I remembered that they had to redo much of the film (hence the long delay in airing it.) So that conversation must have occurred during one of the retakes that came after ML had begun.
Also makes me hope (call me optimistic) that they added much more Alex screen time because he was the People's Choice, etc., etc. by that time and had all of us ML fans championing him.

That point bothered me too, WF. I guess it would have had to have occured during reshoots because his comment wouldn't have made sense otherwise.

If anyone belongs to Netflix, Let the Right One In is one you can 'Watch Instantly'. I'm gonna watch it tonight. It has subtitles- I've already checked it out.

Was it that ML was picked up when he was shooting Whiteout in Canada? Because if it was, then he had already shot the original pilot presentation and therefore had something to relate Mick-wise to Kate.
Or, if he hadn't actually shot anything ML related at the time, he may have read for the part and therefore had a point of reference with Kate, along the lines of "I've auditioned for a role as a vampire in a new TV series. My vampire'd kick your Underworld vampire's arse!"
There are ways it could have happened. It doesn't mean he was telling porkies.

I don't think
anyone was suggesting that Alex was lying.

telling porkies...heh...I never heard that one before.
I'm glad to hear him drop the F bomb in an interview again. He was getting too proper there for a while.

Amen to that, Raven - made me think that he's still our Alex.

Mandy, we think Alex must have talked about this when they were re-doing the movie; probably in the middle of his ML time (perhaps when they were waiting between ep. 12 and 13.)

No porkies here, mm
I remember Alex saying that he was shooting in Canada (Whiteout, I guess) when Joel S. called him to give him the news about ML's pickup. And that he had to buy a suit in a hurry and go to NY

Thanks, Susie, for the article link! And what a treat to read a new interview with Alex! I am just DYING inside, getting psyched for tomorrow night's CM episode - VCR tape (ck), TiVo (ck), DVR (ck except that I still cannot get it to work), purchased a computer-to-VCR, .... I am about ready to EXPLODE!
