Nice surprise...I missed the face needing attention, so I didn't get it until the end...
Wait, the cat's a vampire? He only drained them, not ate them? I know those cat fangs look like vamp fangs, but how the heck could you do this? Or..why?

It was really all Blue... I just asked for a story about Mick and Travis meeting up after Mick's a vampire again... and she came up with this wonderful vampire cat story. I love it. I'm glad it popped up again so I could give it a reread.

Okay, okay, you got me.

Bravo on sustaining the tension right up to the reveal - that's some skill.

Some lovely images during the hunt, too.
A thoroughly enjoyable read - and I'm glad you had fun working on it together.

You guys really had me going there- I thought the hunter was a newly turned Beth! What a relief it wasn't! Very clever indeed ladies!

In the post immediately above. I had read this in the library. Now, Champaign Challenges brought me back for a reread.
I was so sure at the outset that you were talking about a human!!!!!
Fabulous!!!
Thank you

Well here we go -- my Fanfic car is full of (non-BP) gas and revved up to go!
Bluedahlia and Alle -- this was great because you had me going up to the end. I was thinking it was Beth for a minute, but how glad was I to read it was Travis! I am a cat lover too, and therefore a Travis lover by default.
You described the predatory nature of a cat just right and as I read back through this, I see how you perfectly captured the little sneaky bastards! Adorable sneaky bastards, though. Thanks for the noir, the mystery -- and the laugh! Great job!

It's been ages since I read this wonderful story. Don't let my name being listed as a co-author fool you: this story was entirely
Blue's idea. I helped a bit with the mechanics, but it's all hers. And I love it.

Wow! What a twist! I didn't think it was Travis! He's a vamp now? Did Mick turn him? You really do some very descriptive writing it makes you feel like you're walking in the darkness alongside him.

I had to go back and find this awesome story.
Blue did such a wonderful job on it. I loved beta-ing it. I love her writing!
