Did anyone else notice on the actual blog page that the shop guy used "Alex O'Lachlan" as one of the labels? :slaphead:
That is the original spelling (Aussie) that Alex came to the states with...maybe, in his non-professional life, he uses that still to deflect attention from himself..(like that could stop us..bahahahaha!) :evillaugh:

just a thought...

Red,

Yes, yes, ALL of it! :thud: That protruding and extremely enticing neck vein may as well be outlined in neon! So am I safe in assuming that I'm not the only one who had to shove my tongue back in my mouth upon viewing? :snicker:

I was always under the impression he went from O'Loughlin to O'Lachlan in drama school, then back to O'Loughlin. Way back in the early days on another board we speculated about this, and wondered if he switched from O'Loughlin to O'Lachlan in school because everyone kept mispronouncing O'Loughlin and saying it as if it was O'Lachlan anyway. Then when he came to the states he went back to the original spelling. But no surprise if I'm totally wrong about this.

And that does make sense that he might use a different spelling in his personal life.

What is does tell us is that Alex, himself, is still pronouncing it "O-LOCK-LIN" as opposed to TV announcers who are saying "O-LOFF-LIN". I always figured that since actors are supposed to have unique names, there was another actor either in Australia or America that he was trying to avoid being confused with. However, I don't see any alternatives when I look at IMDB. I wish someone could have asked him about his name at the BBM con...
