Pgal, you've done it. You've made the most disgusting thing absolutely, tinglingly, ravishingly sexy. I can see Mick doing exactly those things. My parents both smoked unfiltered Camels, until they switched to unfiltered Pall Malls (because they were LONGER, of course) in the late 60's. I grew up surrounded by, and hating, cigarette smoke--and here's the true irony, my dad worked for the American Cancer Society.

The rituals are perfectly described, the looks are even more smoldering than the cigarette, and the entire (poisoned --sorry, couldn't resist) atmosphere is perfectly noir.

I love this scene. And I'm not kidding you--I'm about as rabid a nonsmoker as you're gonna find. So--wow.

Alle...thank you. I mentioned earlier that my dad used to smoke those unfiltered smokes (although I can't believe your dad smoked and worked for the Cancer Society! ).
