Well, if I may speak for all the mods, I'd like to say thank you, HotMicks--and all of you--for gracing this forum and making it such a wonderful place.

We think that wollstonecraft61's idea is brilliant, so with HotMicks's kind permission, we will be moving the "Moonlight Meets the Classics" thread to the Moonlight Fun & Games section in the next day or so. We hope it will become an ongoing game for all of us to enjoy for a long time to come.

So get thinking of movie quotes, and appropriate caps, you brilliant Moonlightaholics!

I really thank HotMicks for a fantastic idea! This is going to be a lot of fun, I think even more so than snark. Hey, we can even use snarky film lines to have some super fun!!!!!!!!!

Ah, that last one is the most important... it's so nice to know we have a stable home. After the demise of MLL and then the ML4EVER issues, I was beginning to feel like an Israelite wandering the desert looking for a home... and then I found MLA. So Phee, really, THANK YOU for hosting us here and taking care of all those "back end" nightmares to keep this site up and running. Can't say it enough, I really appreciate it!

Oh, HotMicks, now I'm all emotional.

As much as I admire Alex, Jason, Shannyn, Sophia, and all the actors who played supporting roles, it was Moonlight that I fell in love with. Never before in my life have I felt so passionately about a TV show, and I doubt I ever will again. That's why Moonlight will always be front and centre here ... and I sincerely hope that nine years from now, we will be busy planning Moonlightaholics' tenth birthday party.

In January 2009, this little board was born out of a desperate desire to save "our show" from being lost in the stampede of new vampire shows ... but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine it would grow the way it has. Moonlightaholics has been blessed with incredible mods and exceptional members. x 381 (Note to self - we need a "happy crowd" smiley!) Thanks to all our members who make the MLA community what it is!

Lastly ... HotMicks, I'm sorry you felt like an Israelite wandering the desert, but I'm very glad you found a home here.
