Can anyone recommend a site where I can see the last ten minutes or so of ep 5, please? (The last thing I saw was Andy talking with his wife, so there can't be much else to see.)
I saw most of it on YouTube, but the last part is missing. Every site I have tried either won't let me watch (due to being in the wrong country) or has massive security threats, according to McAfee.
I googled until my fingers almost fell off, but no joy anywhere!

Thanks, Red.
Never mind folks. None of the links work for me (in Oz.) So much for the world-wide-web. Is Australia on another planet?

I just find a torrent and download the thing. I've given up on trying to find other methods of watching, and besides, I can burn a torrent to DVD which means my family can watch the show too. You should persevere Phee because there's some more scenes after Andy and his wife talk, including a cute scene with Kuol in Andy's room (or suite actually. Very nice it is too!)

Thanks MoonMad.
I'm reluctantly coming to the conclusion that there is something wrong with my computer, as nothing is loading properly here or on Facebook or any other site for that matter.
I'll be back after running the anti-vrus and anti-spyware, etc.

My guess is that Kuol is the patient that dies and that is going to break Andy's heart.[/quote]

I didn't think of this but it does sound like an interesting concept. Would be sad, but would make for a great episode. Rena doesn't look like she's overly anxious to have kids, at least at this point in her life. The little stream in their marriage has become the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

I want to watch the epi again before commenting - and I have no time right now to download & view it, so I'll have to wait - but can I just say this: I

you gals and this site! I love being able to speculate in the dark - and read your speculations - without someone coming up behind you saying "Oh you just wait, I'll think you'll be very happy and surprised that it's not what you think..." and you know they've read the sides or whatever and now they've just cut off all your fun at speculating because without coming out and saying it, they have just told you that you've speculated incorrectly. I don't want to know anything more than what is in CBS's teaser promo every week. And dsr, while sometimes I do feel they've manipulated them a bit more than necessary, generally speaking I kinda like the misdirection in the promos 'coz I like being surprised when watching the epi. I do REALLY hate when the 11 o'clock news does that, tho

I don't think they've done a great job with the promos... not because they mislead me about the plot, but because they haven't looked as interesting, to me, as the show has actually been.
BUT... I think they are doing a better job of it now. Hoping it isn't too late to attract new eyes...

Three Rivers is getting some love right now from TV Guide, so maybe that will bring in some new viewers.

hotmicks and aolver - the comment about Kuol is
purely speculation on my part....to me, the writers seem to have Kuol setup as the sympathetic character that gets under Andy's skin and becomes close to him. Note that Andy admits to Kuol (not a close friend) that 'maybe he doesn't have a wife anymore' only shortly he has come to accept that possibility himself. Andy will do all he can to save Kuol's heart, but along the way, Kuol may be doing some saving of his own.

I enjoyed the humor and finally getting some back story on Andy as well as others. I'm starting to find all of them interesting.
One thing that sort of bothers me is that Dr. Lee has verbally been described as going after nurses for telephone numbers. I really haven't seen that and I'm wondering why the discrepancy.
I'm beginning to think that Kuol is going to be the running thread that holds season 1 together. Isn't he also in the Mandy Patinkin episode coming up in a couple weeks?
I'm going to have to go back and watch again, but I don't know that Sophia Jordon actually had an affair with Miranda's father as the TV Guide article suggests. All we know is that she was in love with him; it could have been unrequited.

Oh, dsr, I hope my post wasn't confusing! Exactly your speculation was what I was saying I love about this place! I like reading what everyone thinks might happen - same as I did with Moonlight. I just meant that problems with spoiler-type info isn't really an issue here and I appreciate that. Speculation I love - the wilder, the better

- but spoiler or "I know something so let me 'hint' it to you", not so much. And yes, I agree with you - I also think Kuol is there as a device to help Andy tell his backstory to the audience and dig a little deeper into his personality.
