Huge apolgies here Lilly, alle and ladies, but I am having problems with my Lexmark x2400 printer/scanner.
I have very recently got a new computer with windows 7.
I re-installed the software cd a few days ago, and assumed all was well
But when I wanted to use the scanner, I discovered that it hadn't installed the all in one component of the set-up!!
It's a compatibity thing, and been exploring all sorts of ways to the fix the problem.
I'm tearing my hair out here, so I'm taking a break.
But I will try very hard to bring you what I wanted to show you.

Thanks Jo! I've been there, done that, with trying to upgrade a printer to work with W7. Good luck!

well girls, I've managed to scan what I wanted! :yahoo:
I still wasn't able to install the all in one, but have managed in a roundabout way to find the scanning option.
Thanks for your patience ladies..... not long now!

Okay... :flowers:
I found this in last Saturday's SMH.
And I reckon Josef would be interested.....
It's about time he had a Southern Hemisphere base. I know It's probably a bit small, not enough bedrooms but that can be sorted out, while not despoiling the french provincial theme.
Maybe an extended 'wine cellar' for his guests with special needs, and a tastfully added on Freshie wing?

Hey lilly, I've got all my Lexmark components back!
Last night, I completely uninstalled the program from my computer, and a lexmark site came up and said it could see that the program wasn't loading properly, and that it would help me..... :twothumbs:
I've got my All-in-One back.
I can scan to my little hearts content! :hyper2:
I'm excited! :D
