Nope, I tried to narrow it down, but I can't do it. Every time I find his 'best' look I see another picture and change my mind. Five options might be enough,... maybe.

What really puzzles me is that Stan and Steve have 57% of the votes between them -- and Andy has none. The look is not that different between the 3 characters. So, is it about the character himself? Is that why Andy is being completely rejected?

Or did I choose a bad picture?

It's not a bad pic, at all...although I've always thought it didn't do his skin tone any favors. But maybe Andy is just too bland for us? Not enough dark side?

On the basis of the pics alone, I love the one from Whiteout. That tousled hair is just yummy.

I feel guilty for sujesting Russel for this poll and you give me the option of voting for him but then I go and vote for Stan Bad me I voted for Stan the man rather then Russel the look for Alex that I prefered other then Mick. If I were to vote again I'd pic Russel because I just love that look for Alex. I was getting excited when his hair was getting longer as Steve, all the fussy curls starting to show again, but then he shaveed it all off.

Oh I was torn between Andy and Kevin and McG....
I ended up with McG cause he's in SUCH good shape now... which he was w/ Andy too... but w/ McG, we see the tats.

And this may shock, but if this were a favorite CHARACTER poll, as opposed to looks, Andy WOULD have my vote. I LOVED that guy. The show sucked, but I LOVED the character. So so so badly written that show. Had they focussed on Andy, we'd've had something...

And Kath... ... No worries, babe. It's not a binding poll. You can still love Russell.

The one thing about Andy is that Alex was trying to keep a very lean look in keeping with what doctors were doing. He even said that in an interview that I can't place any more. He just looked too lean.

However, I think it's mostly due to the fact that Andy wasn't that interesting. (Sorry Grace) Andy could have been interesting with all that backstory with uncle Mike, but he got lost in the sea of characters. I think Alex tried to give him depth but the most generic takes were the ones that made it into the final product. Who knew that Andy was frustrated by the administrator's (Can't even remember her name) absense until we were told? And did anyone know he was that into Lisa? I'll stop now because I'm beating a dead horse.

I didn't hate Dr. Andy's look. I just like Steve's better.

And being only able to choose ONE from Dr. Andy, Kevin, Russell AND Steve...it was tough, but Steve seems to have a bit of clean-cut, tousled, and edgy.

And my most sincere apologies to Grace because I KNOW she adored Dr. Andy, but...(and I've pointed this out before)...to me, Dr. Andy was like Rebound Guy for me. I liked him, but he wasn't Mick. I think better writing would have definitely helped Three Rivers and more true-to-form ER docs (sorry - I REALLY didn't like Lisa), but I wasn't opposed to clean-cut Dr. Andy.

Eh, no apology needed. He wasn't written well. Nothing on that show was.
But the character they, he, created was way cool. He coulda been amazing. We saw glimpses of it, and I just loooooooooved him!
Sadly, they gave him only a very few good scenes, mostly towards the end of the run.

I love him for the potential I saw for stories, and for the heart (no pun intended) with which Alex played him.

But that would be a different poll. In looks? McG just has it all for me.

Since they ARE so similar I do believe that the character plays a part of the over-all feel.

For me, I LOVE Steve's alpha personality. He's so damn rugged and action orientated. That puts him over the top.
