I knew that CBS changed a lot of Jill's story, but reading the details of that scene that was cut...makes me so ANGRY! LEAVE THINGS ALONE NETWORKS! UGH!

Anyway, that would have been such an emotional, wonderful scene. I know it.

I'm thrilled that Justice took the time to give such thoughtful, in-depth answers. He is truly a talented, funny guy! And many thanks to him for the BTS pics!

Why, oh why did the network PTB think that flashback scene was 'too much'? Oh well, just one more thing that could have (should have) been.

Echoing everyone else's thanks, Lilly. Great questions, and love that he took the time to really answer instead of just giving glib responses. I enjoyed his wicked sense of humor. And still waiting on the DVD set with "outtakes" and other special features.... (Yeah, I heard the echo too )

Finally, reading his comments about Jill made me somewhat sentimental about her appearance at the ML Con in L.A. I really felt like she bonded with us that day, sharing our love for the characters and stories of Moonlight - and perhaps even being a bit surprised by the depth of our feelings. His anecdotes brought back some of the things she said (particularly her comments about "Ordinary People"). And I loved hearing that he and Jill discussed "more Ray." What a bummer that we never got to see it.

Lilly, I can't thank you enough for this! I never would have imagined getting such a wonderful new Moonlight treat this long after the show was over. . . stories we haven't heard before, pictures we haven't seen before . . . it's a dream come true. It was such a fantastic idea for you to contact Justice, and in such a way that it inspired him to respond with this much depth and attention. And the questions you asked were perfect -- I can't actually think of a single thing else I would have wanted to ask. Not only was Justice gracious and generous in giving such detailed answers, but it sounds as if this Moonlight episode truly meant a lot to him. The story about that final missing scene is quite haunting -- I had always assumed it had been cut out of the script before filming, and really hadn't imagined that they had actually shot the scene. One has to wonder if that bit of film still exists anywhere. The pictures he included are just breathtaking. I truly can imagine the one of "Mick and Ray", all worn and faded, being carried around by Mick . . .

What a wonderful interview Lilly, thanks for allowing MLA members of old to read it. Justice sounds like a great guy ~ I wish him success in the future.

I missed this last month and am so happy it came to the top again. This was a great interview. You can tell he put a lot of thought into his answers, even downloading the episode from iTunes to refresh his memory. And then inclucind some BTS pictures for us.
