I don't follow much about CM as I wasn't really interested in it before this ep but there definitely seems to be a lot of buzz about this ep in particular. Everyone seems to be excited about it. :hyper:

Thanks for the link Red.

I wonder why there is so much buzz about this episode...she asked sarcastically.

No not much Grace.

That's why I posted the comment I did after reading it though. Even those who are not Alex fans first and foremost are so into this episode. The blog made that clear. This ep has a definite buzz about it from all parties.

I just checked TVGuide.com and the TV schedule; no mention of the Obama speech yet. I am going to check frequently now because soon they have to have it scheduled in there.

I read yesterday that Obama "requested" the prime time slot. The networks are expected to give in to his "request".

The networks have been pretty vocal lately about how much they hate the interruptions because they lose major ad dollars any time it happens. And considering this is in sweeps, I'm sure that they're gritting their teeth once again as they cave. I'm waiting for the day when some major network "declines to aquiesce to the request". ;)

Hmmmm.... of course Mr. Obama COULD change his mind about Guantanamo... and he HAS been p*$$ed at corporate execs lately... :giggle:

I'm guessing they will definitely cave this time around... but hopefully they won't waste a lot of time with rebuttals and analyses once the Prez is thru... :fingerscrossed:

On with THE show!

And THAT is the other part that concerns me---first, the speech, then the commentary; then the rebuttal by the Republicans; then commentary on the rebuttal--- :dizzy: :slaphead: :dunce: :wtf:
