I'm guessing at the post-ep reviews and re-caps of the Supernatural episode probably had something to do with it.

Absolutely. And hey, Ringer will be back before we know it, so the coverage of the mysterious Mr. No-first-name Carpenter will hopefully keep his number from slipping too much.
