I'm watching now (Rules of Engagement, gah!!). The ads are pretty cute, but Alex's voice is all over the board...initially a bit Aussie, then in one ad is sounded like nothing I've ever heard before!

We walked away from the post show concert by Cypress Hill, who are good, but we were starving. Going to a show like this is quite an experience. They want the audience to scream and clap and make tons of noise, so our throats and hands are sore. Alex looked great, typical eclectic ensemble, and the green shoes made another appearance. It was a good interview, and the conversation ranged from boomerangs to the initial interview with Jennifer and Marc, to the fact that he was broke and living on his mate's couch for nine months (and being woken up every morning by being licked in the face by said mate's dog), to a hilarious discussion about the fact that "mate" means entirely different things to Aussies and Americans... he was charming and funny, and Jimmy K actually interviewed him, rather than competing with him, as Craig Ferguson did. There were about twenty of us Alex fans sitting together in the audience, and we made plenty of noise for him...

This is your intrepid reporter, Allegrita, reporting from the Hollywood and Highland Center shopping mall (the one with the elephants!), dining alfresco...

Yay Alle! I'll be watching for you in the crowd shots!

thanks for the clips, red.....THAT was a fun interview....Alex was really relaxed and there were a couple of moments (reacting to how the audience reacted to the dog story) that were really funny and cute.

ETA: Watched it again... hilarious. They are punchy and keep drifting into innuendo-tinged banter... and at one point, Alex makes a "rawr" cat-like noise...
