I'm heading out in about half an hour to catch a show with my hubby. (Love that guy--he is awfully supportive of me and my obsessions.)

Sorry for the double post, but the movie just ended... and I am really satisfied. I think they succeeded in creating a love letter to the fans, while also making it interesting to people who weren't diehards. Hubby really liked it, too. And he's definitely in the latter category.

Ira Glass of This American Life has posted the coolest, geekiest love-letter-to-Veronica-Mars blog about the experience of being in the movie.

I love his show and I think it's pretty damn awesome that (a) they used actual This American Life staffers as extras, (b) Ira Glass said an embarrassing fanboy thing to a movie star, and (c) he was already a big fan of the series and loved the movie AND the Kickstarter fans who made it possible.

Saw the movie tonight and I thought it was great. Hugely enjoyable and the chemistry between Logan & Veronica was off the charts as always.

Disappointed that Veronica Mars wasn't in the top ten this week. I heard they were adding more theaters.
