CBS Films announces more of the cast for Jennifer Lopez's new movie, 'The Back-Up Plan.'
The studio announced Monday that "Alice" star Linda Lavin will play Lopez's grandmother, or "Nana," in the film,
while Harold Gould of "Rhoda" fame will step in as Arthur, Nana's love interest. Robert Klein, who has appeared on "Law & Order: SVU," will play Lopez's fertility specialist, Dr. Harris.
The film features Lopez as Zoe -- a woman who embarks on a journey to motherhood using artificial insemination, only to meet a possible Mr. Right named Stan (Alex O'Loughlin of "Moonlight") on the day of her insemination. The couple begins dating, with Zoe confusing their early relationship by hiding her pregnancy. After she reveals her secret, Stan unexpectedly sticks by her side. But as the birth approaches, the pressures of their new relationship and her impending motherhood could split them apart.

Awesome casting! I love Harold Gould especially! And Robert Klein is a good pick too. Very funny!
Cool! The cast is rounding out very well!

Jade, thanks for the great pictures. Lisa, have to agree about Sookie, loved her in Gilmour Girls, she is like a real life person in TV land, and Grace thanks for always pointing us in the right direction.

I'm a little lost with who's joined this film now but is the pic that is fourth on the second row the same person who played the young Brady girl in the awful Brady Bunch movie?

i really like the cast no big movie stars except Jennifer but talented actors.
And apparently Jennifer was filming yesterday. from lovelylopez.net
The filming started yesterday, someone on Twitter posted that Jennifer was filming in a Fitness/Library complex in LA. twitter.com

The Los Angeles Farmer's Market" is indeed at Third and Fairfax. It's actually right next to The Grove, a trendy shopping center that looks like a faux European village. I vastly prefer the Farmer's Market, myself--it's funky (in a good way) and fun. I hope they film there a lot!
The Farmer's Market area also has a very tenuous Moonlight tie-in. That's the area where there was a huuuuge methane explosion way back in the 80's. The methane built up in the basement of a store (Ross Dress for Less) and went kablooie early one morning, causing a huge amount of damage to the structure, but amazingly, no loss of life. The methane is a by-product of the same underground oil pools that created the Tar Pits. The explosion led to new ordinances for installing methane detection systems in building basements. Here's an abstract of a technical paper that was presented, describing the explosions and proposing solutions.

I had just blown by it quickly, but I think that was the one
Over. Seems he's gaining a few new fans over there.
They've noticed his strong screen presence. And his hands too!
