The odd thing is I don't think Alex wants a publicist. He's stated on more than one occasion that he's in this business because of his love for acting, creating a character out of nothing and making him live and breathe. He's also shown a lot of reticence about the public eye, showing up only when its required of him by a project he is working on at the time. You never see Alex out and about like other celebrities, which while is an admirable quality and one of the things I adore about him, so I don't think he's ever going to achieve that high-profile celebrity status like Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, or George Clooney.

Has anyone here sent him a recent message asking him to post a message to his fans? Most of the messages I send him are telepathic, so I am not sure if he is receiving them.
(and how many times can I repeat the word 'message'??)

Are you sure he didn't receive "massage"? Maybe he's been getting it wrong? I wonder who the lucky fans were that got his massage?

Well, the comments he approved run right up until 6:27pm EDT yesterday. So, it looks like he's caught up with comments. I didn't read them all, but it looks like most were well wishes and congratulations on BP and the TR pick-up. There a few expressing concern that he looks "too thin" and even a couple of offers to cook for him.

I can't say that I noticed any asking for a message (or a massage, believe it or not). Maybe everyone assumes he's too busy or that it would be too presumptuous to ask while he's filming. Hmmm...

Well, if he's caught up with comments, then I bet he will be posting a general update for everyone.

Do you have to be in MySpace to view the comments? Are they only accessible to Alex's "friends"?
Would one of our myspacers post the link to Alex's page with the new comments?
And now the next step will be a BLOG!

This is the link to his MySpace page:
http://www.myspace.com/alexoloughlin
I'm not sure what non-friends or non-members can see.
As a friend, if you click on the "comments" box, you can see all 103 pages of them. From the main page, if you scroll to the bottom where it says "Friends and Comments" you can scroll within in that section to see the most recently approved comments.
ETA: JIMS beat me to it.
