This is one photo of Alex I have never seen before!!

It took a lot of work to keep Mick's hair looking as fine as it did!

I've seen that one... he's being delightfully silly.

But as an answer to a few fans who got offended when he ridiculed Mick's "bouffant" hair -- during a Three Rivers interview and then again in InStyle magazine this year-- this pic kinda gives a clue to how time consuming that hair was... and how an active guy would sorta kinda pretty much not enjoy that daily grind.

I am one of the few (?) who thinks he is more handsome with his short hair...
I loved Mick. But I could've accepted Mick with a haircut too... scandalous idea, huh?

I betcha doing up Michael Carter's hair was an equal trial... and it went with a dye job too!
He suffers for his art...

I adored Mick's long hair---but it suited the role, a sexy vampire with flowing hair. How awesome did that mane look when he was doing that sexy jumping thing or flying towards someone? But for a guy, especially someone like Alex, it must have been a tremendous pain in the biscuits to deal on that 'do every single day. But I loved it so much, I didn't think I would ever like his hair any other way.

As McG, the shorter hair suits that character, and I think Alex himself.

Alex is lucky and very rare, not many people have the kind of facial structure to pull off any kind of hairstyle.

I think it's telling that when you saw Alex out and about when he clearly wasn't working back in the Mick days , his hair was covered with a hat or... well, it just didn't look as good as Mick's.

I love Mick's hair but I totally get why Alex didn't like it. It was pretty high maintenance.
