^ Yeah, I tried the iPhone this week since the laptop was MIA, and I gave up halfway through the first one. For one thing, the pieces are TINY... and I had the same jumping-and-won't-let-me-place-it problem. It kept moving the gray background, which would push the pieces off the edge. Don't think the app was designed for mobile devices. But now I have my laptop back, so ... will be solvin' some more puzzles. And I have to say, some of these pics here in this thread would make mighty fine puzzles....
I know we can't post 'em here, but I might be making some for myself soon.

However, I can't work an iPad touch screen worth squat, and that's not even attempting a puzzle.
