I haven't heard much at all about The Eastmans, so I really think the decision might come down to Miami Trauma or Three Rivers. TR certainly sounds more original, imo. MT may have Bruckheimer in its corner, but Curtis Hanson is pretty well respected too. Is MT being produced by CBS or an outside studio, does anyone know? That could be a deciding factor too.

So how many days until May 20th upfronts?? :gasp: Hopefully they leak the pick-ups before then. I'm not sure we could take it if CBS drug out the decision until the last minute.

Being serious right now, Bruckheimer and Alex, that is an amazing duo, if this is Alex's goal, fans of Alex should help to support this. Not many actors today get this chance to work with this man, how could he not go with this. This is his chance to go big time right now.

Honey, Alex would not be in the Bruckheimer show... Bruckheimer is the competition vs. Alex's show...

Nayp, Bruckheimer is doing the OTHER medical pilot, Miami Trauma. But the good news is that the guy doing Three Rivers is also successful and well-known. So... fingers, toes, and everything else crossed for Alex.

(Oh, Grace, you beat me to it.)

(And yeah, definitely, let's aim for longer hair if it gets picked up!!)

Being original doesn't always bode well with the network, tho... and is this not just like deja vu all over again last year??? :mdrama:

First of all...EEEEEEEE, new info!!!!!!!!!

Second of all...Yablonski? What the frig?!

Third of all....Miami Trauma sounds like a reality show where they show you patients that have giant nails sticking out of their heads. LOL

Fourth of all....prayers going out for Alex that this show will be picked up and we get our Hour of O'Loughlin back!! Pittsburgh....I love that!! It's not L.A. or New York!! Cool. I've never been to Pittsburgh and perhaps in a few years, we can have a Three Rivers Convention there. Hee!!!!

Wonderful news...and I am very happy for Alex. A lead...rather than member of an ensemble. sounds good.

I am going to go with the Universe on this one. Two Australian actors:

Simon Baker's first series was in Pittsburgh (the Guardian) and he is now in LA in The Mentalist. (TV's #1 Show)

Alex's first series was in LA (Moonlight) and he is now going to be in Pittsburgh in Three Rivers.

The ways of the Universe never cease to amaze me.

And the name they have given his character is so Pittsburgh perfect! Having family in Cleveland never looked more appealing---foresee a few roads trips possibly......
