There's a "fairground worker" listed in the cast, so "The Big Wheel" must be a reference to a Ferris Wheel. I wonder if young Vincent's family were carnies.

I'm a fan of Criminal Minds, though its basis on reality and how the FBI works is total fantasy. Take my word for it! :snicker: Yes, Criminal Minds deals with a dark subject matter and I would imagine this one with Alex is going to be a real tear-jerker, one that can only end one way...us bawling our eyes out! :hankie:

Criminal Minds averages about 14 million viewers a week (for non-repeat episodes). I'm so hoping that Alex's fans can increase that number by at least 5 or 6 million. I honestly think that CBS is going to weigh this into their factoring of which of the two (or is it three?) medical drama pilots to pick up. If CBS sees that Alex's fanbase is still strong, that we all came and watched his guest staring role in Criminal Minds, I have to think that will weigh heavily in his favor. At least I really, really, really hope so!

Yeah, I think the show can only end badly for Alex's character. *sniff*
The little boy is adorable. Maybe someday we'll see a real pic of Alex as a kid. Probably real cute.
I'm still amazed that they spelled his name wrong. Good heavens...that's CBS's official press release???

My kinder and gentler serial killer Vincent!!! :yahoo:

Color me confused but this synopsis doesn't jive with any casting calls that they put out recently. Definitely, not the one about the hit and run driver Gil either. Must be a recent add-on since they're planning to go with 26 episodes this year.

BTW, some people speculated that there'll be CM reruns (R)between now until the end of the season. JTF (from BWP) had shared this CM airing schedule with another poster who posted on another site. Airing on 4/29 would make it Episode 21?

3/11/09 (#417) Demonology
3/18/09 (#418) Omnivore
3/25/09 (#419) House on Fire
4/01/09 (#408) Masterpiece (R)
4/08/09 (#420) Conflicted
4/15/09 (#409) 52 Pickup (R)
4/22/09 (#4??) (tentative) (R)
4/29/09 (#421) (tentative)
5/06/09 (#422) (tentative)
5/13/09 (#423) (tentative)
5/20/09 (#424) (tentative)

Thank you, Susan, you're chock full of information today.
I tried to tune in to CM last night to prep myself for Alex's episode. :snicker: Not easy to follow, too much conversation and not enough action or cute actors. :blecch:

By the end of the show, the announcer went on saying something like, "Stay tuned for the next week's episode. A serial killer on the loose.." and showing the back of a man wearing in a dark sweatshirt with a hood turning around but you can barely make out his face. It's dark or nightime.

I swear, my heart skipped a beat! I guess there are serial killers on CM every week. :getclue:

Yes, Overdamoon, CM does like its serial killers! :snicker: I will say that the show is very fast paced. I mean how often do you get to see the police and the BAU wrap up a serial killer in 60 minutes? :rofl2:

I feel like I'm missing something about the significance of the episode number - can someone explain why that matters?

The airing date and title have been confirmed, so...?

Red, there's a TVspoiler site that puts out the casting calls and spoilers for each episode and it lists each episode by the number. So I was going through the deduction to guess which spoiler matches with Alex's epi. But now that we get the spoiler, I guess I don't need to follow the episode number anymore.
