Oh, thank you Jade, now I can watch it anytime I want..."you should go Alice yes please" :eyes: Oh man, this guy is GOOD. I love the nervous tics and mannerisms. The clipped walk (no sexy saunter there). If she hadn't looked at the TV she would have lived to tell the tale...poor Alice. Let that be a lesson to you ladies. No matter how cute you think the geeky guy is - walk briskly in the other direction.

This is going to be the awesomest episode ever!!!! :worship:

 Hi Mandy!

So are you saying NEVER go off with the cute guy??? Cause most of the serial killers I see perp-pics of... are not at all cute. Vincent is the exception... just saying! :giggle:

Hold off on judging Vincent just yet. He may not actually kill this chick. According to Alex, something happens to Vincent that makes him reach out to the BAU. He's looking for redemption and there is something he does that will ultimately get him caught, yet save a life. It could be this woman. Or maybe not. I would say that this clip perhaps happens half-way into the episode. I don't think its the beginning, cuz we don't ususally see a sketch or pic of the UNSUB until the BAU hits the scene and they've built up a profile. It sounds like the lady news announcer on the TV is giving out the profile, so we're likely well into the episode by this time. Again, it could be that this woman, who's gently flirting with Vincent, is the reason he calls the BAU, hoping they will find him and stop him from killing her. Something to think about... :2cents:

Or, she could be dead meat!

This clip is so revealing about Vincent. Alex acknowledges in the TV guide article that this character touches another...an epiphany...and that redemption is not lost to this character. Vincent's turmoil, his Dr. Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde killer persona is in play...he really doesn't want Alice to trigger his killer impulses, yet he's so out of sorts he leaves the TV news on knowing he IS the news...even if he didn't see the police sketch yet, he knows he let his face become etched in a victim's mind...a victim whom he couldn't kill, or who escaped. How on earth is the police sketch so accurate...it's not only the glasses...it looks exactly like him. Either he's an inept serial killer...or he really does want to be stopped. Yep, Vincent is losing his killer mojo...or he's ready to stop but he knows he can't do it alone.
We should prepare for his demise...he'll probably die but in doing so, save someone else...to the point of changing the course of this person's life. Could be a future serial killer is turned from the path of evil...
Wow...sorry about that, I'm not sure where all this is coming from. Probably caused by the year of Alex deprivation...

Wow! First thing in the morning this great clip :clapping: Thanks, vasussie :rose:

Now it finally hits me how much I have missed seeing Alex. He packed some serious acting in a short clip: loved the mannerisms, the shyness, and of course, that lower, chilling voice at the end "I have to change my glasses" :thud:

And you may add my name to the long list of the "devoted", no shame here!

So now we know that (1) Vincent's vics are generally blonde and (2) in their own homes where they feel "safe", and Vincent (3) changes his appearances with different hats/glasses. Alice is neither blonde nor at home, so will he kill her? Also, we now know that (4) Vincent is a videographer ("the best") so he probably made an awesome video and sent it to the BAU. So Alice dropped him off "after the conference" - is that where she met him? We also know that (5) Vincent as a child is in the episode as well as a foster kid about the same age, implying that the kid reminds him of himself perhaps.

I'm with you all, just obsessing over this clip! Hopefully it will crop up on youtube soon.

Was it not a Moonlight deja vu when you heard "safe" and "the best"????

ETA: changed "alex" references to "vincent" per request of admin

Thanks, jade, but I cannot get that to play on my Mac, even with a video converter. *not a computer expert*

If you listen carefully, the news reporter says "safe at home or in their work space, wherever they are..." then you can't hear any more, so it isn't just at their home. Just another obsessive detail! :snicker: :snicker:

I sure didn't listen 1,000 times---

Redwinter: Got it to work by downloading "QuicktimeMPEG2" from the Apple site. It was $19.99 and you have to have Quicktime or QuicktimePro installed on your computer. Be sure to restart your computer and "voila" - Vincent on my harddrive!

Thanks, Jade, for the download!
