I watched the entire mini series in one night staying up until about 2 in the morning. Couldn't stop myself. Next to Mick, Will is the role I most liked Alex in. He looks adorable and it is an excellent story.
The Oyster Farmer didn't do that much for me, I didn't like the character he played in the Invisible (although he did a great job playing a bad guy) and he just doesn't have much of a part in August Rush. Feed I have yet to say.
But Mary Bryant is wonderful.

Intriguing stuff Sis! And you could be on to something here...Alex affects us on a scientific level at any given point in our cycles. As we go thru that middle, fertile part of our cycle, we tend to prefer "pretty" male faces... they cited Chase Crawford who is in Gossip Girl (I think that's what he's in...) as their example...
Sooooo, I'm thinking Alex is both. He definitely has a strong and distinctive jaw, but he also has a pretty face... so I'm guessing we just love him all month long, huh?

He's so animated
It's interviews like this one that got me fully hooked on Alex because he's so dynamic and enchanting. That energy of his just sucks you in. I'm glad to see he hasn't lost any of that now that he's becoming more well known.

I'm shallow, too. His hair looks great! So thick and wavy.
His comfortableness being interviewed has got to be adored by the interviewer. He is so 'Alex'---maybe that is the one good thing about his handlers not being very involved in his life. (and I am only making that assumption based on...., well, grace understands)
