 I know you are just speculating DS. It's interesting speculation and would make a good storyline. We would really feel for them wouldn't we? Didn't think you had inside scoop. :coffee:

Just bumping in advance of tonight's episode.

And a reminder, if you're not watching on EST or Central, do avoid this thread until you've seen tonight's episode as there will be spoilers!!!

For info...wretched football is running just a little late on the east coast....3R should be starting before 9:30 EDT :fingerscrossed:

As I'm watching this game, chanting at it to be over soon, CBS ran a commercial for next week's Criminal minds....their unsub is a, wait for it, :dracula:

Yeah, and the "vampire" is being played by none other than "Gavin Rossdale", who sings "Love Remains the Same", the song played at the end of Sonata. Small world, huh?

Why do I find that so terribly depressing, so utterly wrong? :confused2:

With ya, darlin'... with ya. It's like, they had the PERFECT vampire... so now they are going for a shadow of it all. Nothing more than a mere shadow. :bmoon:

OK, A couple of reactions....the pace is better, the interactions among the staff (which were pretty good to start with) are also getting better...

We saw different sides of each of the doctors. What I really liked is having Dr. Lee step up to try to find a way to get Kuol his VAD. Somehow, I get the feeling he didn't mind taking one for the team... :snicker:

Now we're going to have some tension between Dr. Jordan and Miranda....Miranda now knows some thing about her father and Dr. Jordan that perhaps she was better off not knowing.

We even got a little background on Lisa, but as much as I want to like her, I don't, at least not as much as the other characters.

Andy is emotionally adrift. He connects with his patients, but he's lost the connection with his wife. Whether or not he's going to connect with Lisa is not clear (my guess is yes, just when his wife decides to give it another go).

I nearly choked when Andy said that they needed a 'back-up plan'.. :rolling: :rolling:

I love Kuol, but I fear for him and what his death would do to Andy.

OK, so now you have totally got me worried for Kuol's life... thank you very much! :slaphead:

A good ep... juggling different stories and of course, Dark, you mentioned the vamp connection with CM earlier. Is not the mother of the gymnast in this ep a very sexy vamp on True Blood?? I must admit I was not that interested in the Miranda/Sophia story tho, cause it is just exactly like Gray's Anatomy...during the couple of years when i was still watching that before the blond with the big boobs and bigger teeth got on my last nerve... But seriously. Could the 3R writers not come up with a different story? Cause they are so gonna get slapped for copying Gray's.

I loved Dr. Lee and the evidence, finally, that he is an effective womanizer. And I loved seeing Andy with the little boy and always with Kuol. Alex is a lovely doctor. I like how he's playing this doctor. Also, I don't dislike Lisa... I don't get why everyone kinda dislikes her. Of course I liked Coraline, so clearly my acceptance of Alex's characters' women is outside the norm... :snicker:

The promo for this ep, once again, was far inferior to the ep itself. They totally need to get a new promo maker. Theirs sucks.

I chuckled at that, too, dsr! I just have to wonder if Alex isn't giving us a "shout out" now and then. :snicker: Like "Mick" the rugby player..too funny!! :giggle:

Sorry, sweetie... :comfort: I see bad things for Kuol and having him look at the donors' board and wondering whether his luck had run out didn't help matters any.

ITA grace. I know squat about video editing, but even I could do better than that! There was so much more to this episode than the promo would have led you to believe.

Overall, this was a good ep. However, I thought the plot twists around the gymnast's parents...were very trite and predictable. I was sitting there saying, "Oh, no...they aren't going to go this direction. Yeah, they are."

Yes... a device to have Sophia confess to Miranda... and THAT too is trite... for as I said, it is a previously-owned plot line... lazy writers.

I have really liked Miranda, but she just seemed more like a pouty, petulant teenager than a dr. tonight.

:coffee: Well since I've never watched more than 10 minutes of GA it was all new to me. That can only be a good thing. I also don't dislike Lisa and tonight I could actually see them going somewhere. :woohoo: in the future.
