It closed before I could vote, but do you really need to guess which one I would have picked???

Went to check and see what was being voted on today...the Firefly/Fringe race is very tight, and so (surprisingly to me, anyway) was the Mentalist/Buffy poll.

Well, that hardly seems fair! Why did they put a current show up against an older show?!? Man... that's pretty low.

I agree that's comparing apples and oranges.

Just an FYI: Netflix now has the VM episodes for instant viewing. Thereby eliminating the need to wait for discs to arrive in the mail. I can't recommend Netflix highly enough. I love love love it and I'll never cancel my membership. Safe and reliable, fast and inexpensive. Oh, and the other day they didn't have the next disc in my queue so they sent me an extra, the next on my list, while I was waiting and sent that one as soon as it was available.
I've been slowly watching them myself, still on the first season. TBH I've never had any interest in shows about rich high school kids, but I'm watching for Jason and I did form an immediate love for Weevil. I'm not all that impressed (so far anyway) but I do admit they sure know how to keep the mystery and people's interest. I've found myself continuing just to see what's revealed next. Although... I do think I've figured it out already. Still, I'll keep watching to find out if I'm right.

I watched an Echolls Family Christmas. It got me thinking.

Not really relating to Jason but kind of six degres of Jason. There is going to be a book signing in NY in October with Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin. (They played Lynn & Aaron Echolls Logan's parents.

Yeah okay so I've finished the whole 3 seasons and I admit I was wrong about it. So if anyone out there has been resisting VM, I encourage you to give it a try. As someone else advised me (which I ignored for years) it may take you a few eps to warm up to it, but it's worth it. Fantastic, multi-dimensional characters, interesting mysteries. Logan. I really enjoyed watching it over the past several weekends.

Kristen Bell has initiated a Tweet-athon tonight trying to pull together the various groups that are rallying for a Veronica Mars movie.
She's asked everyone to join this Facebook group:
I will go see Veronica Mars:: THE MOVIE
...and the amazing thing is about 400 people have joined in just the past 20 minutes! We all know how well studios listen to the fans, but with the star of the show and the show's creator behind them -- who knows?
