Thanks! See, I knew it wouldn't take long. :snicker: I ought to be ashamed of myself, I think this means it's way past time I re-watched the eps... Every time I watch even bits and pieces of it, after all this time and distance and I rarely watch eps anymore, I'm struck by what a good show ML was. It was a fun hour away from reality. Makes me a bit sad all over again.

You know, Coraline would have made a perfect actress, I wonder if she ever tried that on. She's flawless. Perhaps during the days of Josef's flings with Garbo and Harlow she was also on the silver screen. :giggle: There's a great fic in there somewhere. Also I just noticed how long she keeps hold of Josef's hand after they're introduced. ;)

Don't want to get anyone overly excited, it's just that there are a bunch of quotes I'm using in my current Josef's-turning story that I'm in the middle of. It's not for a story revolving around it or anything.

The Ringer, of course! I love that scene, such brotherly intensity between the two boys!

Catmoon, whenever I need a certain quote, I go to http://www.moonlight-love.com/
They have all the screencaps, and a transcript of every episode. I can just go to each episode, search for a certain term, and usually get it in a short time.

Great idea, thanks for the tip!

Yeah, but it is so hard to flip through the screen caps fast enough to get the effect of the DVD. :snicker:

I have not seen my episodes in so long but did we ever know what month Coraline kidnapped Beth. I have a story idea and it would help to know.

Thanks.

Carol, I don't believe there's any indication at all of what time of year Beth was kidnapped.

Let's see...Mick was wearing a jacket...oh, wait, he appears to wear jackets and coats year-round.

I think if you want to put that in a story, you're pretty free to chose whatever month suits you.

I just rewatched NSTAV (Such a hardship I know..LOL) and in Mick's flashback it just says Los Angeles 1985. So I think you can make it any month you want.

Thank you. For some reason I had April stuck in my head and that wasn't making me happy.

But wasn't Beth's window open? They show a quick scene where they pan into her 1985 bedroom. Forget which episode. So it might not have been winter, although it's LA and the weather is always good.

Well, we didn't actually see the abduction. The window was open AFTER she was taken, but that was also two days later.

In NTSAV (I think), Beth said that it was 22 years ago. That was telecast in late September.

At the end of FTP when Mick and Beth were having their date on the roof of his building, Beth said that if he hadn't been a vampire, she would have died 23 years ago so the anniversary of the kidnapping must have been during that time.

I think FTP aired in April 2008. So--somewhere between the end of September and April--late fall to Spring.

I'd guess that L.A. doesn't see a lot of snow--Winters are probably very mild.

Beth's nightgown had long sleeves on it. It had to be at least autumn, or more likely winter, for her to need long sleeves in LA.

Thanks so much. I was looking hoping late October would work.
