This is really tough.

I think there have been some good guesses so far, but this latest clue really complicates things.
Here are a few of my thoughts...
1. They are obviously excited about getting this individual as their narrator.
2. They expect that we will be excited too when we hear who it is or they wouldn't be making such a big deal out of it.
3. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the clues is a bit misleading -- just 'cuz that's the kind of guys they are.
Well, we should have another clue later today...

Hmmm, it can't be Moonlight if it was the Critics who called it that, but if it was about me, it would be Moonlight. Alex?

According to Wikipedia, he was born in New Orleans, not New York...

I think whoever guessed Clarke Peters got it.
He was in "The Wire," was born in NYC, and in 1992, he was nominated for writing "Five Guys Named Moe," which was nominated for a Tony for Best Musical.

Well, I'm quite embarrassed to say I've never heard of him before now.

I looked him up on IMDB (where he is, in fact, listed as the Narrator for SfS...) and I've got to say, he's been a whole lot of things, virtually none of which I've ever seen.
