Phoenix, I'm saddened to hear that you are leaving, but completely understand your reasons for doing so. Take care of your mom, take care of yourself, and know that my thoughts are with you.

MLA has been my refuge from RL and I'll be forever grateful to you for bringing it to life. I'm happy to know it will continue in loving hands. I hope someday you'll find it possible to come back and spend time here again. Meanwhile, take care of the important things in your life and good luck with your writing!

Since I've been asked the same question a number of times in private, I thought it best to address it in public.

I won't be dropping in with any regularity to check my PM's, or participate in board activities. (For anyone who feels so inclined, I'll offer my email address.) However, I will be saying in contact with the staff here, so I am contactable if need be.

I'll be departing on November 11 ... although I'm sure I'll find my way back here for a few hours on Xmas day. MLA throws the best parties, so I'll be here ... even if I have to run amok all by myself.

Getting to know you in the ML fandom has been one of the best things ever for me and I'm so happy to know that you will pop back to see us. I'll miss you.

My dearest friend, I wish you and your Mum some wonderful times together and it will help you both, I'm sure. You're writing will be a wonderful release for you too.

I will miss you around here. You are one of my oldest and dearest friends in the ML community. I know you'll be back but I'll be missing you dreadfully in the meantime.

And, of all the ML sites, this is the one site I chose to join. Thank you. Even those of us who are not particularly active truly appreciate all the time and effort you've put into Moonlightaholics. I'm so sorry I've come to this thread so late. R/L has been taking up a lot of my time as you can obviously well understand.

Phee, you just can't argue with 'right' but oh, how I'd love to. You have left a wonderful legacy here, in this board. You've made the lives of so many people richer and I hope you hold that knowledge close to yourself with pride.

Best wishes to you and your mother. You'll be missed and remembered fondly.
