I'm very glad to see him getting his photogenic face out there, and even more importantly, his talent. Being a younger actor, it is interesting how credible he was as a 400 year old vampire. Nicely, nicely done!
Now, finding a role to showcase his talents.

DEAN GETS STUCK IN THE ‘40S — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) tangle with the God of Time (guest star Jason Dohring), who sends Dean back to 1944, where he is immediately arrested by none other than the one and only Eliot Ness (guest star Nicholas Lea). While trying to figure out how to retrieve his brother, Sam is surprised by the reappearance of an old friend. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson.

This promo is listed as being for the 6th Jan episode, but it includes scenes from the time travel episode (unless zoot suits and Tommy guns have made a comeback and no-one told me):

There sure are some flashes of episode 12 there
-- but it looks like they're keeping Jason under wraps for now. It'll be interesting to see what the promo on 1/6 shows.

Just to point out that today is Jan. 6. In one week, we'll see Jason
on Supernatural.
And with there being a new ep tonight, hey, who knows who will turn up in the "coming next week" promo?
I believe I might just tune in.
