Giving this a bump, because, well, just because... I love it! It's funny that last week on H50 we saw a bedroom scene that was really great, but this tale, without even a second of a visual, is more beautiful!

This is one of those fics that typifies, for me, a Moonlight fanfic classic.

Every. Single. Word.

It is the quintessential magic that was Moonlight distilled down into a short story, but the brevity only increases its impact.

Amazing.

.. just came back for a re-read ... for three reasons..first, it is 3:30 in the morning and that was the best I could offer myself, second, Jen insisted I should read it, and third, this is the most wonderful and poetic moonlight story ever..and damn it yes, this is how post sonata episode should start...but that is a fourth...thanks red
