What a superb story!
Capturing so many intriguing themes that simmered in the background of the Moonlight universe, this gives us a wonderful look at another reluctant vampire.

I'm revisiting old challenges. This was such a hard question for Mick. 1985 was a pivotal year in his life. Everything about it rings true about the Mick we know. This definitely could have been a flashback episode.

What a wonderful case you have given us here!
I also totally agree that this would have made a fabulous flashback episode. Lucky, you are so true to the characters of Mick and Josef, and Marcin is a fascinating original character. I wish he had lived. He would have made a good vampire.

Oh, thank you, cassy, and jen! I always love to see any of my fic back on active topics, but this piece...I think it's one of my best. And I've always been so grateful for coco for helping shape it.
