I dunno, Dark... I was gonna ask if anyone saw him in there anywhere... does not bode well if we can't even catch a clear sight of him in the promo, huh??

dsr - I looked REALLY hard, but didn't see him. If you can tell me where you thought you saw him, I'll try to cap it.

Was that his voice at the end--saying something about them being stuck?? Sounded like him--or it's just those damn voices in my head again..........

I'm almost positive the voice that says "We could be stuck here" belongs to Tom Skerrit.
As for catching Alex in the trailer, I'd say no such luck. A few shots of Gabriel Macht who is also a cutie, but no Alex.

I agree with SS that Tom Skerrit says that line.
Caught the trailer at the cinema last night, it's the same Alex-less trailer

I fear this will be a repeat of August Rush... 2 hours of boring for 10 minutes of Alex...

I have August Rush recorded on the DVR---need to watch it again. I remember how happy I was to see him on the big screen when that movie came out.

Luckily for me, I enjoyed the rest of August Rush, so i didn't feel like it was a total waste. It would have been all sorts of nice to have more Alex in it, but I was still grateful to see what I did. Whiteout, on the other hand, is not usually a movie I would go to see, so this might be a bit different this time around, but I'm still going to attempt to see it in the theater (especially if you ladies tell me that a certain scene is still intact!).

I will definitely see W.O. I don't care if he's in it for 2 minutes, those will be the best 2 minutes I will spend in a movie theater!
As for August Rush, I thought Alex was in it a fair amount---especially considering how the role was supposed to be smaller and they expanded his scenes. Then again, at that point in my newly found obsession, I would have been thrilled if he only made the "cell phones must be turned off" announcement!

I confess that I haven't gone back through 5 pages to see if this link has been posted yet but I noticed that Whiteout now has an official website. I may be really behind the times with this

but thought I'd post it anyway:
