I don't believe that Alex was either lying or joking about getting botulism right after Moonlight was canceled. It seems pretty obvious to me that he was talking about the trip he took with Holly right after he got the awful news. Botulism doesn't cause "Montezuma's Revenge." "Montezuma's revenge" is technically gastroenteritis, also called "traveler's sickness." Diarrhea, dehydration, vomiting, all are symptoms of GE.

I thought it was a great interview. Just the two of them acting goofy and off the wall. They both seem ADHD, and both have said they are, so it would seem crazy when they get together. I like that it wasn't serious. Goofy Alex is so cute. OMG, he must have had a terrible summer, poor baby. Between ML getting cancelled and then being so sick, and then the slow disintegration of his personal life. Thank goodness he has such a positive outlook on life. And this time of his life is so making up for that dark time. Is it any wonder we love him so much?

According to this CBS press release, the rebroadcast with Alex will be TONIGHT 9/14!
