The video ads are very different from the ones we saw before. Sexy brain - actually that's pretty good, only it focuses on the characters of the doctors which is not what the show delivers. I hope the viewers won't be dissappointed.

Sexy brain? Why don't they show promos like that here? *Never mind*

Makes you wonder if they'll show the "missing episodes" in Singapore. It sure would be interesting to see them.

I did think the Singapore promos were very clever. Here, they were all noble and focused on doing a public service. It was almost documentary. (Yea, that's something that people want to see.) They should have painted the characters more like the promos so the audience would have been entertained but would have learned about transplants along the way. I mean, why couldn't Andy have been more like Hawkeye Pierce; totally amusing but with heart and conscience.

I'm sure that Singapore bought all 13, it's just whether it goes over well enough to stay on air. Thinking back on what we've seen, Daniel's character was definitely interesting: that lobster roll prank, dealing for that medical device for Kuol, and working with that really nasty patient. Since he seems to be what the new promos are selling, maybe it will work?

Added:
I mentioned the singapore web site over on LLOL and someone from Spain said that TR is broadcasting there - currently on 4th episode. I'll keep you posted.

Oh yes, rbill... DO let us know if THEY get all the eps too, or just the ones we got...

If they release them all overseas, SURELY that will mean they'll release them here too...

Somehow, if the network bothered to shoot all 12 or 13 (whatever the right number is) episodes, they'll want to profit by them somehow. I presume they'll show them all abroad, unless the ever important ratings suck.....

Can you see us watching 3R video from Singapore on Youtube? With or without subtitles, I'd give it a try. :snicker:

Hopefully, we'll someday get to see the remaining episodes on DVD. If H50 gets the green light, I can't see the network airing the remaining episodes of 3R...... :bmoon:

Apologies for not posting here in a loooong time (slapped wrists) but decided to post after a nudge ;)

I literally whooped at my computer when I received this e-mail earlier this afternoon -

"I'm dropping you a note as I thought you'd like to know that THREE RIVERS will return to the CBS schedule Saturdays at 8:00pm eastern time beginning June 5th. Please consult local listings for other time zones.

Cordially,

Ray Faiola
Director,
CBS Audience Services"

Now as to what eps they will show, we aren't sure, but Alyssa from AOLP/H50 contacted CBS and the woman she spoke to felt that we would be getting all the episodes and a DVD is probably on the way too.

Celebrate good times, come on! :cheer: :yahoo: :clapping: :cheer: :hyper2:

OK, don't get your hopes up, but I think this is good news. We all knew there was a chance CBS would "burn off" the TR episodes during the summer. Well I just got an email from CBS "audience services", presumably in response to the various (okay, hundreds) of emails I sent their feedback address about TR - confirming TR IS going to air on Saturday nights @ 8pm, starting June 5th.

No word on which episodes, but... :fingerscrossed: we'll get the full run. (Surely???)

WOOT!!! :hyper2: :hyper2: :hyper2:

We get to find out what happened to Kuol! And does uncle Mike spoil everything? :woohoo:

EDITED TO ADD: And I don't have to watch the shows in Spanish or whatever language is spoken in Singapore!!

:chin: But you know, there could be an Alex backlash.

According to a memo sent to the CBS affiliates, the episodes airing will be the 5 UNAIRED eps. They will run from June 5th to July 3rd. After that, another series will be taking the 8PM spot.

So yay!!! We don't have to wiat much longer to see what happened after episode 8! :hyper2:
