I confess I lost interest in Spooks after the first couple of series but I do love Richard Armitage and I'm a huge Iain Glen and Sophia fan so I'll definitely be checking this out again. I'm beyond excited that Sophia is going to be on TV again.

Thunderbirds got quite a lot of publicity here, Outlander and Tristan and Isolde didn't really make a splash. Hallam Foe did well on the indie circuit and got some good notices but didn't really do much in terms of box office. But you have to understand how huge Doctor Who is here - it is a phenomenon (and The Girl in the Fireplace was a much-discussed episode) so I'm not really surprised that it's the reference point for the UK articles. As for Moonlight, it really isn't well known here at all as it never aired on network TV.r1015bill wrote:It is interesting that several articles have referred to Sophia as being from Doctor Who when she did only one episode.
I did see the Doctor Who episode before Moonlighting and thought it was a fabulous episode. David and she really did have chemistry.
But you'd think she'd be referenced by her movies - unless her movies weren't that big in the UK?
