





I love that Beth sees the treetop angel as a man. I've never seen a male treetop angel, but I can easily see little Beth simply assuming that the beautiful angel, all in white, is male... because her Angel is.

Ever so carefully, she lay down in the snow and began to move her arms and her legs. When she was finished, she stood up, carefully stepping away from her work of art.
I can see why this is everyone's favorite, DSR. It's a masterpiece of character and such a sweet story.When she didn’t see him, she just said ‘Merry Christmas’ very quietly, then ran back inside.
