It was at 52.9% earlier this morning -- around 8am EDT. With 3 hours left to go, I guess everyone is making a last push -- thus the slight fluctuation.

He's back up to 53. Still voting.

So will one of the experts please tell us what will happen in the next round, assuming it works like March Madness? Are they still pairing the top-seed with the bottom-seed in each bracket? So will the biggest vote-getter of the 4 game winners in each bracket be matched up with the lowest vote-getter in the next game, and the two middle-ranked ones be matched up?

If that's true, and assuming the percentages don't change, Alex will be paired with Justin Hartley of Smallville. If the two top-seeds go up against each other, it'll be Alex vs. Jared Padalecki.

I have no idea, but I was assuming the winners of the 2.3 and the 2.4 match-ups would face each other. That would put him up against Neil Patrick Harris.

(I'm picturing the bracket already drawn out like in B-Ball.)

Based on both the bball and what they did to get us to round 2, i think Lilly is correct... Because Alex was the second biggest vote getter in the ranking round, he should not have to face Jared until the round of 8.

So assuming we make it thru today, we'll be up against NPH... whose race is even a bit tighter than our own today, so that's a good thing.

See how handicapped I am by not knowing how college b-ball works?! Here I thought I was doing just fine not knowing anything about that particular sport, but NO, it comes back to bite me in the @$$. Do I have to learn EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING in order to be a proper Alex fan?!???
