I will take any form of positive speculation, good reviews from students in the frozen tundra of Alaska or promising vibes from the Psychic Hotline, at this point.
It sure beats the hell out of the alternative.

Fleur

, that makes me laugh on a rainy, ugly Monday! With alll the good news the last 2 weeks, maybe CBS doesn't need the Psychic Hotline, to realize they already have the "golden boy" .

nayp---rainy and ugly where I am, too.
And CBC knows what it has, that's for sure. That is why I have complete confidence that this show will be a success and make it on the fall schedule.

I agree with you all, I am soo ready to do the happy dance....but...ML cancellation crushed me...
So, I am just gonna have butterflies in my stomach, just praying THR gets picked up....
I think Alex is on the rise, it's his time...
"Back-up Plan" will give him that leading man role boost... seeing him in a romantic lead..I am gonna pass out, just seeing him making out...

Me too! I plan on bringing ice packs to the theater!
The THR article has me

especially since they're so reputable, but May 20th still seems very far away!

I guess at the very least, it's good to have good buzz... it would increase his profile????
But what you all said about ML... we'll never fully trust again, will we?

You know..I had small panic attacks all that week, of ML's cancellation... I was devastated... then you know the rest..
I am there for our guy, just holding on to my heart tight, as I step out and trust again..with you all...
We are in it together..

Trust..yeah, thats a tough one after what we all went through last May. So while I too am holding out strong hope for 3Rivers, I ain't going so far out on that ledge that I'm hanging by a fingernail.

I will never forget what I felt like after that fateful day last May when my Moonlight universe was turned upside down and my heart ripped out of my chest.

Melodramatic?

You bet. But then I can't say that I've ever felt such utter despair over the loss of a TV show in my entire life.
Again, I'm very optimistic about 3Rivers. And no matter what happens, Alex can count on me to be in his corner supporting him through the good times...and bad.

Absolutely, Susan. I'm trying not to think about last May, telling myself this is a whole new ball game. And at least we haven't even had the chance to fall hopelessly in love with Dr. Andy yet - so if the worst comes to the worst, it still won't be as bad as hearing the ML news.
Hoping for the best, expecting the worst, trying to stay sane.

You guys are so right about last year at this time. Every Saturday during the last three episodes, I was a living nightmare to live with, Untill the viewers numbers came up, I was sick, then when they did show up, I worried if they were good or bad. This year just feels different, with Alex, I feel CBS is in his corner 100% this year. I know it isn't Moonlight, but Alex for me, was mostly Moonlight, and any thing he does keeps the old ML fires burning in some way.

I am feeling absolutely and utterly confident about the pick-up of 3R.
So, if my hopes and dreams do get crushed, you all better be around to sweep up the pieces. Or at least pour the liquor down my throat.

Yes...FdLisa... We are all in the same boat...carefully trusting, hoping..we are here..
nayp: I agree with you on the feel of CBS, I feel they are aware of his potential and are tapping into that...
We all knew he had talent, it was just frustrating waiting for people to get a clue and do something about it..
It was really tough last year, feeling sick and queazy all the time...
I am ready to feel the love...again..
