Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez are set to star as women who turn to science to help them have babies, in two new comedy movies. Childless Aniston will play a woman who is secretly inseminated with the sperm of her best friend - played by Jason Bateman - in Basted, which will begin shooting in the spring.
Lopez, meanwhile, will star in Plan B, about a single woman go undergoes fertility treatment to conceive, only to meet the man of her dreams the same day she discovers she is pregnant.

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman will team up for Mandate Pictures' comedy "The Baster."
Based on Jeffrey Eugenides' short story, the film follows an insecure man who discovers his best friend plans to have an artifical insemination and secretly replaces her donor's semen with his own.
Allan Loeb, whose credits include "21" and "Things We Lost in the Fire," is writing the screenplay. "Blades of Glory" helmers Josh Gordon and Will Speck are set to direct.
As Variety points out, this the second artifical insemination flick we heard about this week. The first one is entitled "Plan B" and will star Jennifer Lopez as a woman meeting her dream guy on the day she's scheduled to have the procedure done.
Aniston is currently onscreen in "He's Just Not That Into You." She most recently starred alongside Owen Wilson in "Marley & Me."
