Thanks to all for posting the articles for those of us not in the know!

You just need to set a Google Alert for Alex O'loughlin and you will get most of the articles sent to your E-mail every day.

Hi everyone!

I also worry that Alex might not make the BBM which would be awful for those attending and awful for us who want all the pics and gossip from it. But I don't want Alex to get ill and that may be a bit much for him. TR on the east coast; then start filming his movie in LA as a LEEEEEAD; then try to fly from the west coast of the US to London for a weekend; in the public eye and on stage all weekend; then fly back to film again on Monday; not to mention jet lag.

He IS pretty resilient and a trooper---but???

I will pray for all those attending that he goes! :fingerscrossed:

My husband has made just such a business trip before... it isn't pretty... and it's not something he really WANTED to do... but work is work. He survived.

I told him to think of it as an adventure... and not to forget to buy me a present in London...

Unfortunately for THAT trip, I got a Starbucks coffee mug from the airport... and his dirty laundry when he got home... NOT up to my usual travel-gift expectations... :giggle:

I have no problem with Jennifer Lopez. She does have some talent. It's people like Paris Hilton (a boil on the rear of humanity if you ask me) that need to frig off. :blecch:

Anyway, I hope Alex keeps that down-to-earth, awesome, boyish personality when his star rockets to the moon(light. Hee!) because like ya'll said...it's about to get CRAZY. I think that the Aussies overall have fantastically unique personalities and most remain pretty humble. I'm not super worried, but there is a teensy tiny bit of worry, because...I'm a worrywart. LOL

When the general public gets a load of Alex, a lot of them will probably do what we all did...go back to look at his past work, including Moonlight!!

Oh! Maybe SciFi will run it again after this spring!!

And I don't think you have to worry TOO much about Paris Hilton, you who are my partner in worry-worting... I cannot FATHOM a movie he would be willing to make with her... isn't Lindsay Lohan no longer even speaking to her... and isn't the rest of Hollywood no longer speaking to Lindsay Lohan? I think he'll blow by their celebrity pretty quickly... :fingerscrossed:

Okay, I'll bite the bullet here and say that I hope his fans won't be too upset if he does have to pull out of BBM. I know that I had planned to go, but since then have learned that I will be in Sydney, Australia for work while the BBM Con is going on, but I know that I would be disappointed if I was planning on attending and Alex had to back out. But, having said that, while disappointed I would totally understand why he couldn't make it. I know that some fans have been very upset with other actors that fail to show at Cons they had been booked to attend. I sincerely hope all of Alex's fans will be understanding and still show him the support he so richly deserves.

But if there's a way he can work it into his soon to be very busy scheduled, I bet he'll make it. Our Alex is a class act. :hearts:

:yahoo: Yee hawww! Alex will appear on a big-screen movie. :groupwave:

Well, I've been speculating about a Plan B or a back-up plan that CBS cooked up for Alex but didn't mean that they'd name a movie after the Plan B. :snicker:

I still want a back-up plan for Alex to be back on TV on a weekly basis... Wonder if Les or Nina has a Plan C for Alex should TR not pan out... :happysigh: (As I last checked, the 30-year old ex-Navy SEAL surveillance expert Dominic Vaile character in NCIS: Legends is still available... )

Doing a search with J Lo's name net some new interesting tidbits... The movie was gonna be named "Plan B" ( Jeez! :snicker: ), conceiving twins and a kinda low budget movie ..

Jennifer Lopez’s Back-Up Plan - “Plan B” get’s a new title!TUESDAY, MARCH 24, 2009 - 02:20

Here’s an update on the Jennifer Lopez movie previously known as “Plan B”. IMDb has updated the project page and changed the title to “The Back-Up Plan”.

Sounds good! The romantic comedy is scheduled to start filming in May 2009 and should release somewhere in January 2010.

The movie focuses on a woman who conceives twins through artificial insemination, only to meet the man of her dreams on the very same day.

TV veteran Alan Poul who has has directed episodes of Big Love, Six Feet Under and Rome will direct the movie and casting for the male lead is currently underway.

The Back-Up Plan’ will start filming on May 11, 2009
Posted on Apr 1, 2009 by Imko. Filed under: Movies, News Articles, The Back-Up Plan.

Jennifer Lopez’s next flick, ‘The Back-Up Plan,’ will start principal photography on May 11, 2009. The movie will be filmed in Los Angeles, California. There’s no word if they will also be filming in other cities.

‘The Back-Up Plan’ will be one of the first movies from CBS Films and will have a budget ‘well below $40 million’, CBS Corp. president and CEO Leslie Moonves said in February.

According to Deadline Hollywood Daily, CBS has demanded that each existing TV show — even the hit ones — reduce their budgets for next year, if renewed. They also state that the CBS Film division is ready to start production on their features.

Even though ‘The Back-Up Plan’ isn’t their first feature to start filming, it will be the first CBS Films feature that will be shown in theathers January 2010.

I posted these articles on VLF but didn't know it'd go offline today.
To think that he could've been in the same movie with the other Jen? :pinklol:

Anyhow, it's nice to have Alex's name mentioned in the same breath with J Lo and Jen Aniston... To have his name attached to the A-listers is super.

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman will team up for Mandate Pictures' comedy "The Baster."

Based on Jeffrey Eugenides' short story, the film follows an insecure man who discovers his best friend plans to have an artifical insemination and secretly replaces her donor's semen with his own.

Allan Loeb, whose credits include "21" and "Things We Lost in the Fire," is writing the screenplay. "Blades of Glory" helmers Josh Gordon and Will Speck are set to direct.

As Variety points out, this the second artifical insemination flick we heard about this week. The first one is entitled "Plan B" and will star Jennifer Lopez as a woman meeting her dream guy on the day she's scheduled to have the procedure done.

Aniston is currently onscreen in "He's Just Not That Into You." She most recently starred alongside Owen Wilson in "Marley & Me."

Yup, sure looks like CBS is very serious about launching Alex into the stratosphere of stardom! At the very least, they are giving him the opportunity to shine. I never could understand some people's belief that CBS was actually trying to sabbotage Alex's career. Its a business. Why would they ever consider such a thing?! Alex's success will be directly linked to CBS, thus they will be successful and reap the financial benefits right alongside Alex. Go Alex!

They know they've got a hold of a rising star and they plan to make the most of that. And if they do right by him, he might be more inclined to keep that relationship as his career skyrockets. Smart business move, CBS!

And is it just me, but is the name of that Anniston/Bateman movie like one of the worst titles you've ever heard??? Seriously...."Baster"??? WTH? That would keep me away right there. :confusing:

Isn't it awful!!! Here's hoping it gets changed during production because that sounds like box office poison to me...
