If there's a lowest common denominator, you can count on me to find it. :giggle:

Will Julie Chen draw the honors of interviewing Alex this time?

The last time, she nearly drooled on the set. Case in point was her comment about how attractive Alex is "Well, just look at him!"

Wonder what she'll come up with this time :giggle:

No no no... that was Maggie Rodriguez who interviewed him last time!

Julie Chen is Moonves's wife and I have resented HER ever since she appeared on the Craig Ferguson show on the same night that Sophia did (plugging that unsuccessful movie she had done, bless her) and Craig mentioned vampires, and that all the guests that night had some connection to vampire shows except Julie, and she said, real ugly, that SHE does not like vampires. She only likes pretty things-- so obviously had never see Mick, the tart. This was, like, the week after ML was so pre-emptorily canned...

I thought her snooty remark was tasteless and unkind. Poor Sophia had to come out after than and speak of the cancellation like a good sport... but she'd been set up to look like a loser. By the net's boss's wife, who of course has HER job and her low rated Big Brother show because SHE"S soooo excellent; I am sure no nepotism is involved there at all...

Do I sound bitter enough yet? :giggle:

OH I GOT MORE RANT ON THAT EARLY SHOW!!! :rolling:

So THIS year, they have a big to-do about how popular vampires are... and so all the morning anchors pick their favorite actor/vampire... and that Julie Chen who HATES vampires suddenly hops on the vamp-bandwagon and picks, I think, Keifer Sutherland. NONE of em pick CBS's vamps, not a single one even MENTIONS that CBS had vamps. PissAnts. And some loser on their team picked George Hamilton as his fave vamp. Automatic DQ, as far as I'm concerned. Loser.

I am gonna breathe now, Dark, I promise. But those peeps ticked me off. And Julie Chen hosts Big Brother... enough excuse for tar and feathering right there. :giggle:

I understand, sweetie  . Let's just hope Maggie gets the interview and Julie is off on assignment or locked in a closet somewhere.

Besides hating vamps, Julie might just be a little jealous of Alex right now....her hubby let it slip in that infamous (ill-advised) interview what he thought about Alex, especially with his shirt off :cloud9: .....another reason, studio heads need handlers. :giggle:

Thank you, Grace, for phrasing that whole sorry episode so, well, gracefully. It still reduces me to spluttering. :grumble:

:giggle: I do remember Alex sitting there so patiently, twiddling his thumbs, and her "look at him" comment. Let's see how they cope this time.

One can only hope they're better prepared this time, but well, can you blame her?

As for the interview with Julie Chen and Sophia, I missed that. Based on what you ladies have described, it's just as well. Julie's comments were really insulting to Sophia on two levels; not only because of the Moonlight connection, but because she played a vampire as well (Lucy) in Dracula.
