What event are those pics from, ladies? Is there a story behind them, that caused that look on Alex's face?

The TCA Critics gathering that occurs around late July. All of the networks introduce their new shows and give the critics a chance to ask questions.

This was taken at the 2010 convention. From all the reports, the H50 session was very serious. I think there are some you tube videos of parts of it.
