The pace of donations has slowed a bit, but I'd guestimate that when all is said and done, the Kickstarter campaign should yield between 4 and 4.2 million.

Hopefully, I'm underestimating the final total, but still, Rob et al have to be proud of the outpouring.

Others, however, seem wary of being put in an awkward position of fan desires vs their own. See below for David Boreanaz' thoughts of an 'Angel' film.

How awesome that they made videos that day! I do wish Jason had been part of it, but to see Rob, Rico, and Kristen (and she's soooooo pregnant it's adorable) was fabulous. I love the things they're doing to promote this project--and to thank the contributors!

The numbers have started moving again! They're going to hit $4 million today!

Wow! Rob must be absolutely giddy at this point So happy for all of them and amazed to see just how global this actually is.

There have been over 300 new donors in a little over 2 hours since my last post.

And..... it just hit $4,000,000!

Wow! Looks like they may get that dragon after all.

Awesome news! There are so many international VM fans.

I swear half the fun is seeing these people get so excited.

There is so satisfying about this on so many levels - the VM people (both creators and viewers) are passionate about this story, so much so that the fans are willing to fund it and have already achieved twice their target only halfway through the period.

Then there's the effect this is having on the studios - perhaps causing them to expand their horizons a bit.
