(Allegrita gently leads the subject back to Alex's NEW role in Criminal Minds, on CBS...)

So...I've only watched a couple of episodes of Criminal Minds, but I have a friend who watches it regularly, and she says that they've done shows before from the POV of the killer. And that some of them, the really well done ones (she mentioned one with Mitch Pileggi of X-Files fame), cause you to really sympathize or at least empathize with the killer. So this could be a nice, meaty role for Alex. I sure hope so.

ANd yes, he TOTALLY needs the tats in this thing... they are way off base if they cover the tats... ML woulda had another 2 million viewers with the tats... 8-)

Fantastic news, so glad to see Alex in a new role (albeit a small one). It's definitely been too long.

Never seen Criminal Minds, I don't even think I know what the premise of that show is. :? Haven't seen Feed or any of Alex's grittier movies, either. I'm very intrigued!

About the Show

CRIMINAL MINDS revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit's most prominent agent is David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), a founding member of the BAU, who returns to help the team solve new cases, while pursuing some unfinished business of his own. The team is led by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), a family man who is able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets. Also on the team are Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), the daughter of high-powered diplomats who recently joined the team and must prove her worth to Hotchner; Special Agent Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), an expert on obsessional crimes; Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), a classically misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; Jennifer "JJ" Jareau (A.J. Cook), a confident young agent who acts as the unit liaison for the team, and Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), a computer wizard who helps research the cases. Each member brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them.

OH! This is totally unrelated to the topic, but Criminal Minds stars the actor who played Greg in the show "Dharma and Greg". Hah! I always wondered what happened to that guy.
