Hi Lucia, nice to see you here.
Yeah, J Lo is nearly 40, but let's face it, she looks good. Jennifer Aniston is starting to look her age (too much sun probably) but J Lo is still very attractive. I wonder what Alex's 'look' will be for this show? He could go 'Mick-like' ladies.

Though what's with the name Stan? Oh well, it could we worse - he could be Stan Yablonski.
As for Alex attending the BBM; I'm sure he wouldn't want to disappoint his fans, and besides, he'll have some new projects to promote as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he was given some time off to attend. Even though he's the male lead in the movie, it's pretty clear the film will be shown from the POV of the J Lo character and they may be able to schedule filming around him. All is not lost, attendees - there's still plenty of hope. Alex has had so much time off in the last year, I'm sure he'll be throwing himself into all this wonderful activity with gusto.
I must admit it gives me a sense of satisfaction to be proved right that signing with CBS was a good thing for Alex's career. There was so much negativity, and some conspiracy theories too floating around, that I must admit I had my moments of doubt. Nice to know that it's ended up being such a positive thing for Alex, especially when the show with Simon Mirren didn't eventuate. I never doubted Alex's ability to pull off great things, but I did have my doubts about CBS. It's nice to know they obviously appreciate him as well as us! Hopefully this will silence the crazies who think he has bad career advisers.
After his rom com I want to see Alex in an action adventure movie a la Indiana Jones. Oh be still my beating heart...
